ZATCA QR code decoder
Upload a photo or screenshot of the QR on a Saudi e-invoice, or paste its text, and see what it carries. Nothing is uploaded: decoding happens in your browser.
What a ZATCA QR code contains
The QR on a Saudi e-invoice is base64 text in TLV form (tag, length, value). Phase 1 invoices carry five fields; Phase 2 simplified invoices add four more for the cryptographic stamp:
- Seller name
- Seller VAT number
- Invoice time stamp
- Invoice total with VAT
- VAT total
- Invoice hash (Phase 2)
- ECDSA signature (Phase 2)
- Public key (Phase 2)
- Signature of the stamp's certificate (Phase 2, simplified invoices)
Decoding shows what the QR says; it does not prove the invoice is genuine. To check the whole invoice against ZATCA's rules, paste the XML into the validator.
